Pre-orders open: estimated delivery is approximately one month from confirmed pre-order. Provide your vehicle make, model and year: front windscreen compatibility must be checked before confirmation. Submit a pre-order request with no payment collected by the form.
A QR parking contact tag gives someone near your parked car a simple contact route: scan the code, open a webpage and leave a message. FlipPing is designed to keep the owner’s phone number off the physical tag and public contact page.
How a visitor contacts the driver
- Scan the public QR code. A device-specific contact page opens in the phone’s browser.
- Choose the reason and leave a message. Visitors do not need a FlipPing account, app or phone number.
- The owner receives a report. The report appears in their owner portal; delivery through other channels depends on settings and service availability.
Web messages, notifications and private calls are different
A report stored on the website does not guarantee an SMS, email or WhatsApp message was delivered. The owner chooses available notification channels and verifies receiving details where required. WhatsApp requires an opted-in receiving account; phone notifications and calls require the corresponding provider configuration and allowance.
Anonymous calling uses a platform relay when enabled, rather than publishing the owner’s real number. It is separate from leaving a web message. Availability depends on service entitlements, call allowance, verified contact details and the phone provider.
Choose a standalone tag or a reversible plate
FlipPing Tag
The planned €9.99 standalone option is for drivers who want a QR contact tag without an N or L Plate Set. Customisation and a 3D-printable model are part of the product offering. Owners can choose the size when printing a device QR.
FlipPing Plate Set
Planned from €19.99, with front and rear N or L plates and a detachable QR tag. N + L panels, rear illumination and magnetic mounts are optional selections. Mounts cost €15 each and are not included by default.
The detachable contact module is designed to stay useful after the novice stage. On a reversible plate, use the QR side while parked and restore the required plate display before driving.
Keep the activation key separate
The public QR identifies the device’s contact page. The private activation key proves possession when binding the product to an owner account. Never put that private key on the public-facing tag or share it with someone reporting a parking issue.
Anyone can register and sign in, but owner tools remain locked until a device is bound. When transferring a device, use the owner portal’s release process so the former owner’s access ends.
Understand the ongoing service
The current plan includes all contact features for the first two years from activation, subject to usage allowances and provider availability. All-feature renewal afterward is €4.90 per year. Without renewal, web messages, owner-page notifications and email remain; SMS, WhatsApp and phone services do not.
