Still learning to drive?
Choose the L option for a learner. If you want a gift that follows their next milestone too, the N + L option includes front and rear panels for both stages, designed to reuse compatible magnetic mounts.
Just passed their test?
The N option is intended for the novice-driver stage. The detachable QR tag is designed to stay useful when they no longer need the N panels. Check their licence stage before choosing a plate.
Already has plates?
A standalone FlipPing Tag is the simpler option: a QR contact tag for a parked car, without replacing their existing N or L plates.

A gift they can activate themselves
The intended recipient can create their own account and bind the product using the separate private activation key in its packaging. They do not need to use the gift buyer’s email. The public QR code is for visitors to contact the driver; the private key is for the recipient to claim the device.
Current service terms include all contact features for two years from device activation, within published allowances and provider availability. After that, all-feature renewal is €4.90 a year. Without renewal, email and owner-page notifications remain available.
What makes a practical new-driver gift?
Check which plate they need, whether they already own compatible mounts and whether a QR tag would help when their car is parked. Ask before choosing a windscreen accessory: the intended position, visibility and physical fit matter more than a matching colour.
